Betting Glossary

Asian Handicap
To level the gap between two sides, the weaker team is given a head start in goals or runs. In most cases, a draw result is excluded.
Over/Under (Totals)
A bet on whether the total runs or goals in a match will be more (Over) or less (Under) than a set number.
Odds Formats
The same odds can be written three ways: Decimal (2.25), Fractional (5/4) and American (+125). On a ৳1,000 bet, a win returns ৳2,250.
RTP (Return to Player)
A theoretical figure showing what percentage of total bets a game pays back over the long run. A higher RTP means a lower house edge.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage a casino holds over the long run in any game. The higher the RTP, the lower the house edge.
Wagering Requirement
To withdraw bonus winnings, the bonus amount must be bet a set number of times. At robi9 this is 25 times.
Live Dealer Casino
A real dealer runs the game via live video stream from a studio. You can also chat with the dealer.
Slot Volatility
High volatility means less frequent but larger wins; low volatility brings frequent smaller wins. Medium volatility sits in between.
Progressive Jackpot
The jackpot grows as bets from all players on a network are added to it. When someone wins, it resets to zero.
Cashback
A set portion of your net weekly losses is returned to you. A robi9 VIP Silver member with ৳20,000 in net losses receives ৳200 cashback.
Multi Bet (Accumulator)
Multiple selections combined into one bet. If all selections win, the return is large; if one loses, the entire bet is lost.
